In addition to the increased ground clearance, the space between the fenders and tires is also increased. The lift also allows larger tires to be installed by reducing tires rubbing fenders and mud flaps. as with any lift kit, C.V. joints will operate at a slightly increased angle, which will increase maintenance requirements and wear.
